Wide Track Steering

Steering a turn, while using a large skid angle.  In a large skid angle, the skis deflect and point well away from the skier's actual direction of travel.  Wide track steering leaves a very wide skid track in the snow, and results in a tremendous reduction in speed.  It allows any shaped turn, made on any terrain, to be skied as slowly and comfortably as the skier desires.
