Edge Roll
Edge Roll
A component of an edge change, Edge Roll generally refers to the act of subtly rolling ones skis onto edge to begin a new turn. Rolling skis on edge well results in a cleanly initiated turn that’s devoid of any pivoting.
The term is also used in a drill call “Edge Rolls”, which focuses directly on a precise execution of this skill.
